Downeast Pilates Classes During the Pandemic

I hope everyone is staying safe and taking precaustions to prevent infecting yourself or others.

As we are in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic I will continue to keep the Downeast Pilates studio closed. I will periodically re-evaluate things but for now I do not believe that re-opening the studio would be beneficial to any of us. Please know that I am keeping the health and safety of everyone in mind. The last thing I would want to happen is for my studio be a pathway of transmission for COVID-19. Having had an uncle who contracted the disease and not knowing the long term ramifications I take this quite seriously. I hope and trust that you can understand and respect that.

As this will be our new normal for the foreseeable future, Downeast Pilates is now offering group classes and private/semi-private sessions online via Zoom. There have been some changes to the schedule and the way you will sign up for classes. The schedule has Reformer on the Mat classes as well as regular Mat Classes.  Please note that there is currently only one Mat Class with Modifications, however you are more than welcome to join another Mat Class and apply your own modifications as you have learned. I have also added more slots during the week for private sessions if anyone would like to to go over any other modifications they may need or to address any other issue on a one-to-one basis.

All class sign ups and payments are now being handled online.
You can find a weekly schedule, and sign up for classes here. We have produced a helpful video on how to use the scheduler if this is your first time signing up.

As a reminder, you are allowed to make up any missed class during the same session only.

IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN AN ONLINE CLASS WITH ME YET, you will also need to sign up for one of the New Client - Intro Class slots (free) prior to your first Pilates class.  This will give us a chance to get your web camera and mat set up properly, as well as all required paperwork signed.

I know this sounds daunting at first but hopefully it will soon become second nature!
